W'Menswear was founded by Lauren Yates in 2015, born out of a desire to produce high quality, heritage-inspired garments for women - with a nuanced and ever-evolving perspective on femininity at the intersections of fashion, workwear, military garments, and history. Originally operating out of a converting shipping container in Bangkok, the brand has grown substantially with each new collection, employing specialty and custom fabrics as well as partnering with local workshops & artisans.
The fishing tunic is a full-coverage mid calf dress, with a ton of utility in the two large chest pockets and full ring of hem pockets. It's made from a midweight Japanese check twill, woven from 100% cotton, with a soft hand and flattering drape. The front closes up with metal snaps, and the fit is relaxed and oversized.
